CLEANING SERVICES

Resource Environmental & Management Services Private Limited. Cleaning and Hygiene’s standard cleaning services include daily cleaning and supervision of the client’s premises. These services are tailor-made, project specific cleaning solutions and include:

OUR CLEANING PROCESS

ANALYSE YOUR NEEDS

The first step is to understand the scope of work that is required to achieve the desired results. This is done through site inspections, through which the following information is gathered:

  • Site building size, height, location and staff required
  • Type of industry (office building, retail centre or industrial park, etc.)
  • Type of floors, walls and movable assets (furniture and infrastructure).

CREATE A PLAN

REMS develops a tailor-made programme for the site using the information obtained from the site inspection. The programme includes schedules and checklists for all cleaning activities.

The checklists are inspected by project managers to ensure that all required services are done to the quality and frequency of the scope of work.

IMPLEMENT THE PLAN

Once the scope and programme have been defined:

  • Sources the required staff following interviewing and vetting processes
  • Provides cleaning staff
  • Supplies staff with the required PPE, equipment and consumables. Thereafter, the services are implemented on site.

MONITOR & REVALUATE

REMS Operations Officers monitor the site daily by reviewing the checklists that are submitted.

They also do site inspections on a weekly basis, which involve site audits, on-site training, deliveries, and risk management and mitigation.

From this, feedback is provided to the project managers.

WORKING REGULATIONS

Janitorial Workers

The following rules and regulations have been imposed by REMS to its Janitorial workers as well.

  • NO UNAUTHORISED PERSON OR MINORS ARE TO BE BROUGHT ON SITE.
  • ID PASSES TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES
  • NO MOBILE PHONES TO BE USED ON SITE UNLESS FOR OFFICIAL PURPOSES
  • NO SMOKING ON SITE
  • ALL SOLUTION CANS AND BOTTLES MUST BE LABELLED.
  • ALL ELECTRICAL ITEMS SHOULD BE LABELLED AND CABLES CHECKED BEFORE USE.
  • KEEP CLEANING CUPBOARDS/ROOMS, CLEAN & TIDY AT ALL TIMES
  • LOCK CLEANING CUPBOARDS/ROOMS BEFORE LEAVING.
  • IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT, REPORT TO THE SUPERVISOR IMMEDIATELY

Manpower Workers

The following rules and regulations have been imposed by REMS to its Manpower workers

RECYCLING POLICY

We see to it that our cleaning activities are environmentally safe and sustainable. We make it a point to adhere to the following:

  • Reduction in the use of Environmentally harmful chemicals
  • Energy and water conservation
  • Increased recycling and waste minimization
  • Where special collection points are available,the workers shall segregate the waste to allow for recycling of such waste.

INFECTION CONTROL

Cross contamination has been found to be a real danger in cleaning operations. Bacteria and germs maybe transferred via cleaning dusters and other materials such as mops used between washroom areas, kitchens and office rooms. Unless prevented, this can lead to Health and safety being compromised in all areas of the work place.
